Faith United Methodist Church of Grain Valley

2 years-pre-K taught by Lela Ek .  Children in this class are studying the New Testament. She is teaching them the wonderful stories about Jesus’ ministry.

K-3^rd grade is taught by several teachers who rotate.  The class uses the "L.I.V.E. Big" curriculum.

4^th-7^th grades lead by Shawna Meierarend.  The class also uses "L.I.V.E Big" curriculum.

8^th- High School class is taught by Megan and Trevor Howard. The youth have been focusing on how to avoid and withstand peer pressure; how to be good representatives of Christ and Faith UMC by talking about the real world issues they encounter at school, in society, and at home. 

Along with talking about how to strengthen our walk with Christ, the group has been involved in arts and crafts and numerous drawing projects. We are working on seasonal decorations for the room and putting our own spin on the surroundings. It’s a fun time to sit back, fellowship, be creative, and learn about the great big love of our Heavenly Father!

"Young Adult" class is led by Pastor Hackett and they are studying I Peter.

"Seekers" class is led by Ken Howard.  This class uses the Faith Linc series which focuses on the Bible and current events.

"CB" class is led by Jerry Vaughn and they are using an Adult Series Study.
